Finca Las Veraneras
The Biokrop Project
Apaneca Ilamatepec Mountain Range (Ahuachapan)
Varietals: San Pacho, Red Bourbon, and Pacas
Processes: Black Honey, Naturals, Semi Washed, and Washed in Raised Beds and under shade.
Las Veraneras is the main coffee estate of The Biokrop Project where and inception a decade ago with biodynamic ancestral best practices combined with top biotechnology transfer where microorganisms, compost, biochar, bokashi, and organic and natural foliars, repelents and BioFertilizers are produced for use of its maintanance plan to recover and make more fertility available in soil as well as the only farm in Central America with Magnetic Fields. Las Veraneras is also focused on harvesting rain water with its reservoir with focus on water conservation to benefit use during summer and for community. Las Veraneras serves as a model finca for other producers of the Blue Harvest Coffee Lands program as it has diversified to growing other crops as Fine Cacao, basic Grain, and hibiscus.

New 2023 Cup of Excellence both national and international finailist winner Mr. Pineda joined the BioKrop Project by Tierra Bendita in 2019 with Pacas, Pacamara, and Geisha microlots from the highest coffee mountain areas of El Salvador honoring the Chalatenango's Alotepec coffee mountain region in Northern El Salvador. It is part of the Denomination Origin in Northern part of El Salvador and we are really happy to support, bring technical assistance, and provide technology transfer to Mr. Pineda confident their new harvest and diversification in varietals such as Geisha will bring them more awards at all categories.
Chalatenango is one of the regions that produces the finest coffees due to the volume of small producers who pay attention to detail, the rich soil and microclimate in this region.

Finca San Andres was recently showcased as a top 25 finalist at Cup of Excellence and continues with great tradition by our member producer Alfredo Recinos and family. In 2019 COE Competition National Finalist and 2020 Denomination Origin competition finalist with Pacamara Natural. The Pacamara Red Honey is one to be used in competition by Salvadoran Barista Carlos Artiga in 2022.
The Pacamara Natural from Finca San Andres recently showcased as a top finalist at the Cup of Excellence and continues with the great tradition of our member producer, Fredy Recinos.

Ever and Norelvia Diaz

An award winning microlot from one of the finest specialty coffee producing couple Ever and Norelvia Diaz. In 2022 Ever Díaz passed away and inherited his coffee farm to her wife Norelvia Elías de Díaz and his children. It has cost them so much, but they are proud that each plant that they have produced from the nurseries, no matter all the difficulties that they have gone through, are now a result of a Cup of Excellence award. They have participated in Cup of Excellence in 6 years. Now Miledy farm is well known for their great quality, and it is considered as one of the best in El Salvador.
Awards: 2016 and 2017 Project Origin, 23rd place El Salvador COE 2017, 4th place El Salvador COE 2018, 13th place El Salvador COE 2019, 3rd place El Salvador COE 2020 and 1st place El Salvador COE 2021 (all this awards were given to the farm under the name of Ever Díaz).
