At the Beginning: Seed & New Growth

Our visit to Las Veraneras started at the very beginning of the coffee journey. Guests were able to see coffee as a living system—beginning with seed selection and young coffee plants in the nursery, where years of care begin long before a single cherry is harvested.

On the Farm: Growing & Picking Coffee

Walking the farm brought the process into focus. Visitors learned how coffee is grown, cared for, and selectively picked by hand, gaining a deeper appreciation for the skill and attention required to harvest coffee at its peak ripeness.

Processing & Transformation

From the fields, the experience continued into processing. Guests were able to observe how freshly picked coffee is transformed through washing, honey, and natural processes, and how small decisions at this stage shape the final flavor in the cup.

Understanding the Full Story

Seeing every step—from seed to processing—connected the dots. The visit to Las Veraneras offered a clearer understanding of where coffee truly comes from, reinforcing the value of traceability, quality, and the people behind each harvest.
